Reducing imbalance costs
Balance responsibility is mandatory in the Dutch energy market. Although forecasting is increasingly precise, you will always face imbalance. When it becomes clear in hindsight you have used or produced much more or less energy than planned, you will face a bill of the national grid operator TenneT. At PVNED, we compensate this by sharing imbalance costs. This reduces the total risk of imbalance. We profit together!
